Hello! Please know that there are NO definitive ways to compare bottle size, caps, labels etc. YL sometimes have to change their labels or bottles too and that doesn't make them fake guys. LOL. And imitate makers will always "strive" to change or improve their imitation. The point of this message is NOT to show you what a real bottle and fake bottle looks like in details. The point is to alert you that buying from 3rd party sellers is a risk and I certainly ask that you don't fall for "cheap" to put yourself or family at risk!

I know there are friends who are non-members of yl in this group. You might have been added here because your are curious. Some of you plus members alike may have quietly bought online from some 3rd party sources that offered unbelievably rock bottom prices. Especially if you compare them to the actual yl prices.
This post is for you.
Below are pictures I personally took of imitation bottles sold online that were shown to me in Indonesia. I have to admit it blows my mind that anyone can go to that length to professionally print quality labels that even has that special transparent window (where the name of the oil sits). Yep. That rogue. Not to mention printing the yl singapore and malaysia office addresses too. Pretty much only a seasoned oiler can tell the bottles apart. The matt finish vs yl's mildly gloss finish. The shape of the bottle and caps were small little details. And we have not even gotten to discuss what on earth is INSIDE the bottle. Do you know it is also extremely easy to unscrew the entire white cap with the ring without breaking them apart. So if you are buying them off someone offering a bargain, think again.
There is a legit and damn right reason you are encouraged to buy straight from a company. The guarantee of content, the protection to exchange within a period of time etc. If you are looking for ways to change your family's health, it just doesnt make sense to jeopadise your intent with cheap.
I am perfectly fine with choices not to use eo. I am just perfectly furious if someone cheats another.

P.S the label with the window is the newer packaging in YL so it is a REAL legit format especially for oil from USA. The format itself is not what determines fake vs real. YL does have both designs. That is what makes it harder. The point of this post is to highlight the danger of buying from an unfamiliar online 3rd party re-seller.
